Our program began over 45 years ago as Grace Lutheran early Learning Center. A few years ago we moved our location and renamed our program First United Methodist Preschool. Although our name and location changed our core values remain the same.

​Our mission is to provide our children with the best early childhood education by encompassing  physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual and social development within a Christian environment.

The philosophy of our preschool is to have our children learn by experiencing the world around them. We approach learning through a play based curriculum created by our experienced teachers. Our program focuses on developing each child’s self-help, social, language, large motor and small motor skills. These skills are developed through exploration of centers, circle time, art activities, outdoor play and group play.
